Good morning! This picture was taken a few weeks ago when we were having daily sleeting here in Oklahoma. It did this heavily for days, then would rain, then would ice over at night. Typically, I'm not someone who drives in the snow, or bad weather at all. I just stay home, bundle up, and enjoy a warm drink and a book. Yet, I've managed to be here every morning like usual.

For the last eight months, I have been waking up at 4 AM to go to the gym. Randy is in training mode and is training 2 to 3 times per day right now. So, between taking one Kido to school, and our toddler who stays home with us, trying to find time to train heavily myself has been difficult. I'm still cutting a little hair, and Randy is still doing privates as well, so most of our hours in the day are already allocated. I had to make time.

I could always wake up and go train in our garage gym and get a little more sleep, but I made some new goals last year that I have to stick to. Our garage gym is geared more towards kickboxing (we converted it during covid)

I wanted to start incorporating lifting heavy back into my routine, now that gyms were back open, and I had been cleared for all exerise. I am more then ready to get back into shape. Not pre-Rogue shape, but better. That body is gone, and a even better version of myself is yet to emerge. So now I have a healthy dose of weights, bands, kickboxing, and some cardio.

Every morning without fail, I wake up at 4 AM, my clothes are already set out, bag is already packed, and I'm out the door by 4:30. I'm at the gym ready to put the work in by 5.

Once I had a clear goal in mind, I put it on paper, put it in my phone, took pictures, and set alarms. Kobe Byrant talked about making a contract with oneself, to hold yourself accountable. That interview really inpacted me. I made more than a promise to myself, I made a contract with myself, there are NO EXCUSES!

I would love to hear what you guys do or say to yourself to implement a NO EXCUSES Lifestyle?
